Our Story
With 20+ years in corporate sales and business development, but an artist’s heart and a gypsy soul, Write Direction's owner, Lorri, had long-looked for a creative outlet.
As fate would have it, traveling for business to Fort Worth led her to experience western branding. After researching and finding there was a niche market not being served here in Nashville’s big backyard, and another fateful tug by her late father’s love of “all things branding” - Write Direction Branding was born.
Write Direction offers on-site, open-flame, tailored leather branding and custom hat bars for stand-out events and signature Nashville style.

Our hat bars typically feature straw, luxe vegan suede, and 100% hand-shaped wool options - offering a style and price point for everyone. From ranchers and cattleman pinches to fedoras, our hat bars always feature thoughtfully selected feathers, bands, pins, ephemera, and branded details. We’re proud to offer a thoughtfully curated hat bar experience - one that is intentionally designed to feel personal, not predictable. Not cookie-cutter. Our leather branding bars feature a variety of tags, bookmarks, and fun, Nashville-esque shapes with beautiful strings and sturdy keychain fobs to fit them for function. We offer a variety of fonts and sizes, as well as unique icons and shapes - finished with custom toasting (yes, toasting!) creating rich character so no two pieces are ever alike.
